Sports massage helps reduce muscle tension, improve circulation, support recovery, enhance performance, and maintain overall comfort in the body. Whether your horse is in hard work, coming back from time off, transitioning from the track, growing, ageing, or simply feeling a little “off”, massage provides a supportive space for their body to reset, rebalance, and breathe again.

Kinesiotaping is a subtle yet powerful way to extend the benefits of bodywork and support your horse long after the session ends. I use none other than Hestaband tape, proudly supplied in Australia by Mel Rowe of Melt Lymphatics. This gentle, non-invasive modality offers ongoing support without restricting movement.
It’s incredibly effective for pain management, reducing swelling, supporting compromised or fatigued joints, improving posture, and so much more. The possibilities are truly endless—and the best part is, it works with your horse’s body, not against it.
-
Photonic therapy is a powerful yet gentle tool to support your horse’s natural healing processes. I work with a range of light therapy devices—including the Super Torch, Multi Radiance Medical light, joint pads, and red light boots—to offer a tailored approach for each horse. With a combination of red, infrared, and blue wavelengths, we can target deep tissues, surface-level inflammation, and accupoints.
Whether used alone or alongside other therapies, red light therapy helps reduce pain, support circulation, and encourage cellular repair in a way that’s non-invasive and well-tolerated by even sensitive horses.

Tissue mobilisation uses specific, targeted manual techniques to stretch and release the soft tissues that surround and support the major joints. When these tissues are tight or restricted, the joints can’t function properly.
This work focuses on creating space, reducing tension, and encouraging healthy movement through those key areas. By improving tissue health, we not only support better range of motion and joint function but also help reduce injury risk, aid recovery, and even improve behavioural responses. Because when a horse can move freely, they can feel and perform at their best.
