ETAA Awards: New Therapist and Equine Therapist of the Year (WA)
I am incredibly honoured and grateful to share that I have been awarded New Therapist of the Year and Equine Therapist of the Year (WA) through the Equine Therapies Association of Australia Inc. Awards!
Firstly, I'd like to say a huge sorry to everyone who has been blowing up my phone today, and especially my mum who has called me about 100 times telling me to “just post something already”. I've obviously been very busy doing horse girl things haha.
I also think I’ve been sitting here trying to find the right words, while also allowing myself to actually be proud of something so special. Accepting praise, awards, and compliments has never come naturally to me. I’ve always been much more comfortable keeping my head down, focusing on the horses, doing the work and thinking about what I can do better.
But slowly, I’m learning to recognise just how incredible this journey has been. To look back at where Crown Equine Solutions started, the hours, the learning, the challenges, the horses, the people and everything that has brought me here... it’s pretty damn incredible.
So for once, I’m going to let myself be proud.
I think for me, when something like this happens, my mind immediately goes to my Maverick. And I swear everyone who knows me or follows me knows his name at this point.🤣 He was the beginning of this, and he will forever guide every decision I make. So my first thank you will always go to him.
And now to my clients…
Every day, I show up for you and your wonderful horses. I make sure that every time, I give you the best version of myself. And when it was time for you to show up for me with the award nominations… you did it in the most incredible way possible.
I feel like naturally everyone sees me as the face of Crown Equine Solutions, but behind me is such a loyal, supportive, and absolutely wonderful group of clients and horses. At the end of the day, YOU are what makes Crown what it is.
I also want to say a huge congratulations to all nominees, finalists, and other winners of the ETAA Awards. It's such an honour to be recognised alongside so many talented and passionate therapists who are dedicated to improving the wellbeing of horses across Australia.
Thank you to the Equine Therapies Association of Australia Inc, the judges, Teresa Tidball (Tidball Accountancy Pty Ltd), Emily Purvis (PURE Equine Law) and Genevieve Joyce (Equigate), Equestricare Equine Sports Therapy, Off the Track WA, and my incredible group of people who walk alongside me and this business every single day.
Thank you for believing in Crown Equine Solutions... This is only the beginning!
